State Rights: Void where republicans disagree. /S
The CA legislature does this all the time. They already passed a law requiring state institutions (like the UC schools) to stop giving business to NC over the bathroom bill. I think the argument that this violates the equal protection clause is kind of weak given that this is about which companies the state government gives its money to. Arguments based on the supremacy clause and commerce clause are also fairly weak for the same reason. It's not like they are banning these businesses from operating within the state, they are just excluding them from state funds.
