Doctors grow ear on forearm then successfully transplant it

Doctors in China have successfully removed an artificial ear that had been growing on a man's arm for three months and transplanted it onto his head. Mr Ji, whose first name and age have not been released, lost his right ear in a 2015 road accident in China's Shanxi Province which left him with serious facial injuries on his right side.

Wait... could they... like, put eyes on my arms? I want to know what my back looks like without looking in a mirror.

Assuming you're serious, this is only the outer ear. It's simply reconstructive plastic surgery. His inner ear and the nerves connecting to his brain were presumably not damaged and therefore did not need to be replaced.

Gosh darnit. I'll never know what that pimple on my back looks like.
