U.S. unveils new restrictions on travelers from eight Muslim-majority countries
Passengers traveling to the United States from 10 airports in eight Muslim-majority countries will be prohibited from bringing laptops, tablets and other portable electronic devices on board with them when they fly, according to new rules set to go into effect Tuesday. Fliers can still travel with these items, but they must be packed in their checked baggage.

Anyone got a time machine and that lever action shotgun from terminator 2? I've had it with this timeline and no level of temporal möbius looping could possibly be worse than this madness.
Its the missing Malaysian airline that caused this timeline, either the black hole or the supernatural.
So let's duct tape Rick's time Crystal to a SAM missile, shoot it at the plane's last known position, and everything should sort itself back as intended
Sounds good to me, but just in case have you seen a police box or a delorean around anywhere?
I prefer flying around the sun in a bird of prey laden with whales

The best people... The following Q&A...
Q9: How are you defining, “larger than a smart phone?”
A9: The size and shape of smart phones varies by brand. Smartphones are commonly available around the world and their size is well understood by most passengers who fly internationally. Please check with your airline if you are not sure whether your smartphone is impacted.
They had top men working on it... top.... men But really there is a big difference from a 7 inch lenovo Phab Plus and a 4.6 inch Sony Xperia Z5 Compact, you would think they would clear things up on the size in inches or millimeters just to avoid confusion.
So travelers from those 8 countries have to check their laptops instead of carrying them on the flight because the TSA is worried there may be a bomb in the laptops. That raises a few questions.
1 If there is a bomb in the laptop its still in the plane if its checked or carried on so what is the point there?
2 The ban is only for those 8 countries, what would stop someone from going to a non banned country and carrying their laptop on the plane with them?
3 It doesnt affect US airlines only airlines based in those 8 countries so what would stop someone from flying on an American airline instead?

You forgot Benghazi.
On point one: https://xkcd.com/651/. I'm surprised a terrorist organization has not yet done (or attempted) this. As it would cause electronics to be banned on flights which would lead to people being forced to "deal" with each other on flights, and thus the end of day to day air travel. which in turn would lead to the end of western culture in weeks if not days.
