Tea-drinkers, unite! A place for all things tea.
What's in your cup this morning?
I usually drink iced tea at this time of year, but this morning I'm drinking a hot cup of Stormy Night by David's Tea. It's like a chocolate chai. I'm willing fall to come faster!

Lovely I have tried that one. I'm partial to their Glitter and Gold black tea. Spice is nice.
I love Glitter and Gold too!
You wouldn't happen to be a Canuck would ya? Most folks who know DavidsTea are. ;)
Nope, I'm an American. I have some NYC and Boston area friends (who have stores nearby) who are big fans so that's how I found out about it.
Ah okay! The shop originated in Montréal, Québec but it is finally starting to spread. Tea Loves For All!
Glitter & Gold is pretty fun! I always love that one around Christmas.
I just made a trip to David's Teas myself, and ended up getting their Supreme Pekoe, their Mao Jian Jade, and their Royal White Peony. The guy who works there told me that they were just picked in May--I'm so excited to try one of them tomorrow!
White Peony sounds amazing, especially new crop. Mad jealous over here.
Oh! I haven't had that one in awhile! But I'm drinking Pumpkin Chai from DavidsTea this morning and I feel luxurious! I see they launched the fall line last week and I quickly snapped all the new teas up as well as a gorgeous bear tea mug.
Currently Bigelow's Mint Medley, since I was in a bit of a rush!
I can't have caffeine anymore, otherwise it'd be the Adagio blend "Cinna" from Cara McGee, which is a chocolate-y cinnamon and hazelnutty toasted mate tea. It's super caf, unfortunately. I miss it so, and your post reminded me of it.
Need to find a decaf blend that has that quality. Seconding the desire for fall.
I love Cara's blends! She was my gateway into looseleaf.
Me too! I had a friend who gave me some looseleaf samples of her blends and well, you know how it goes...
I LOVE Cara McGee's blends, but between the shipping and the exchange rate I haven't been able to afford Adagio in a while and it makes me very frustrated.
Actually on topic though, have you tried a cinnamon rooibos, they're not quite the same as mate, but might be worth a shot.
Ooh, that does sound worth a shot! Cinnamon is a pleasure for me.
I make my housemates (also tea drinkers) get me stuff from Adagio and then pay them back. But it is fairly a rare event for much the same reason.
This morning, I'm having a cup of Dilmah's English Breakfast. I don't drink teabags too much (at home, anyway), but I got a box from a friend and it's quite nice.
I almost always drink Marco Polo. I try to limit myself to one cup or it goes too quickly, haha.
Oh! I love that one! Good choice. :D
Oh my god Stormy Night is great. I've been hoarding mine in hopes of making it last.
I always drink really boring tea in the morning, and then branch out later on. I usually drink either orange pekoe or english breakfast. Today I got adventurous and had irish breakfast though :)
