(Floraverse) Omg. :D

A bit belated, but...

Context: one of our favorite artists did a charity art livestream yesterday, where you would donate to one of the listed charities, forward the receipt of donation to the artist's email, and depending on how much you donated, you'd either get entered into a raffle to win a sketch or get a guaranteed sketch from them. We were low on money and so donated at the lowest raffle tier. :( We didn't have anything we wanted drawn, so we just asked the artist to draw one of our favorite characters from their webcomic, Floraverse, if we got a spot.

Anyway, a lot more people donated than was expected, which surprised even the artist. We figured that we wouldn't get a slot but were glad to have donated regardless, and it was truly something else watching them draw. They're so fast on the lines and have like a built-in instinct for color. ^^;

We went to bed partway through the stream. When we woke up, this email was in our inbox! We don't know what we expected, but this was not it - and it makes us happy on so many levels. :) J. and An. (yes, An. took his screenname from this character) say they're keeping this email and the corresponding picture forever, and also printing it out and putting it on their wall as a reminder of what they want to do and why they create.

Today hasn't been perfect, but it becomes a lot better whenever we look at this. <3 Thank you, Glip, for doing this. We'll do our best to follow this example.

Also, if anyone wants to see the full picture, here it is!
