Palmer Luckey donated $10,000 to Trump 'shitposting' on Reddit.

Palmer Luckey vanishes from Reddit after Trump 'shitposting'

Oculus founder Palmer Luckey has deleted his Reddit account after admitting he helped fund a pro-Trump 'shitposting' movement on Reddit. Details emerged this morning, courtesy of The Daily Beast, that 24-year old Luckey helped run and financially back Nimble America, a pro-Donald Trump group that emerged on the /r/The_Donald subreddit.

...That is some next-level scumbaggery right there. I didn't know a person could sound so completely and overwhelmingly insufferable in so few quotes.

I don't understand the shitposting tho. Why ? If you are pro Trump , why not donate to his campaign ? And how much does shitposting cost?

Right? Like, it all seems so unnecessarily weird and under-the-table sketchy. Why the fake name? Where does the money for memes go? What's wrong with normal campaign contributions?

I can only think of one thing, Reddit gold. But, where did the rest of the money go ? Did they hire people to shitppost?

I remember seeing paid ads for Trump on reddit. Maybe that's what they are referring to?

The group he funded Nimble America describe what they do as shitposting. You are probably right about the ads. They had a billboard in Pittsburgh. I curious to see how much shitposting cost because it's the main focus of the group.
