No matter how salty Genji mains get, I think the nerfs are very much in order.
It's funny that I can actually say that, because Genji is(was?) the ONLY hero in Overwatch that was useful on every map, for both sides, in any situation.
I never got comfortable enough with Genji in competitive so that I'd play him there, but my experience in QM is very much Kill squishies->Get resets->Ult->Cap point. So many matches where I've gotten all major cap point solely due to the reason I used my ultimate as Genji.
Getting Genji ult in line with Zenyattas ult is a very reasonable thing to do, since now you won't have to wait for the 1st hit from Genji in the hopes that he'll only kill 1 person after your ult ends.
