Overwatch ESPORTS (Do We Need Hero Limits?)
Overwatch - One Hero Policy? (Do We Need Hero Limits?)
Does Overwatch need a hero limit? What do you guys think about stacking heroes? Personally I think there are both pros and cons to unrestricted hero selection, in this video I go over my thoughts. Do remember to leave your ideas in the comments below. ♥ PATREON CAMPAIGN!

I'm two sided on this topic because if Blizzard do in fact put hero limits on it sort of ruins Overwatch slightly and takes away from the game, however if we don't, team will abuse it and there will be problems such as a the ones discussed in this video.

I'm 100% in favour of a one-hero-per-team limit, aka "Highlander" mode.
It works really well in TF competitive, so there's that, we'll have to wait and see what Blizz' decides to do.
esports ruins everything
I disagree, I think it actually brings a lot more attention to the gaming scene and community.
gaming isn't a niche hobby
Again, I disagree, I think that a lot of people like to use it for a nice outlet of fun. Those who put a lot of time into gaming should be allowed to go and play at big tournaments and many people like to support their favorite team at these events. But hey that's just my opinion and fact. :)
but it's not
What's not?
I feel like restricting multiple heroes for ranked only would be the best way to go. It keeps the cheesers happy when playing in quick play and having a little fun, and it isolates the people who want to be competitive in ranked mode.
Yeah. I played last night with a bunch of friends, and we had a blast doing things like a 6 genji party (I think one of us actually was any good with genji, so we got roflstomped) or triple symmetra team comps. It makes sense on the competitive side, but I really wouldn't want to lose the fun of making absurd teams when playing quick play for fun.
Hahaha my friends and I won a match on Nepal by all picking the same hero each round (and switched heroes in future rounds). We won with 6 D.Vas, lost with 6 Meis, and won with 6 Tracers. Super fun, but probably not the kind of thing you want to see in ranked mode (especially considering the salt I've seen in game)
In my opinion, there should be a one type if hero per team limit only in the upcoming ranked/competitive mode, so people can still mess around and have fun with multiple characters in casual (hence the name casual), but more competitive matches can still be had in ranked.
