Black Mirror: Series 3 summaries

'Black Mirror' creator breaks silence on season 3 episodes

Either you're already obsessed with Black Mirror or you probably haven't seen it yet. The technology thriller has managed to virally spread into an international cult hit despite producing only seven episodes in three years and having TV's most notoriously unworkable format: each episode is a self contained story with an entirely different cast.

(THAT ARTICLE CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR SERIES 3 OF BLACK MIRROR, IF YOU WEREN'T AWARE ALREADY)

Let's put this straight: Charlie Brooker is one of my favourite people in the world (amongst a long list of people, but he's in the Top 10 at least, okay?) He's a genius of a writer, and Black Mirror is his utmost triumph thus far. I heartily recommend this show to anyone (who doesn't have a weak heart), though I may not be thanked in return because some (most/all) of those episodes are hella bleak. But they are so, so well written and produced. Every single episode just manages to fill me up with so much despair and anguish and emotion. THEY ARE SO GOOD.

Everyone has their pick of episodes, and mine would be "White Bear". The first time I finished it, I had to go have a long lie down just to clear my head. And then I wanted to watch it again. Just to make myself suffer. Charlie, why do you hurt me so.

But anyway yes SERIES 3 STARTS IN OCTOBER. I AM EXCITE

side note: I debated shortly whether to refer to the show's run of episodes as "series" (UK) or "season" (US)..... I'm sticking with "series". idk why this is even a question.
