David Attenborough has now had an ancient shrimp fossil named after him
Sir David Attenborough has had yet another species named after him, Cascolus Ravitis, after a 430-million-year-old fossil was discovered in Hertfordshire. Cascolus is a Latin translation of the Old English equivalent to Attenbourough and Ravitis references the Roman name for Leicester, where the naturalist grew up.
