Woolly mammoth on the cusp of resurrection, scientists say

The woolly mammoth vanished from the Earth 4,000 years ago, but now scientists say they are on the cusp of resurrecting the ancient beast in a revised form, through an ambitious feat of genetic engineering.

Thoughts? Concerns? I for one doubt that we'll see a cloned mammoth any time soon, but I'd really like to see one in my lifetime.
