Carly and her feline

From a shoot I did recently with lovely model Carly. Who else thinks cats are so underrated in pictures? :3

The composition and light in this shot is lovely. Did you drug the cat? If you tried this with ours, you'd lose an eye

Ha! All natural, the cat just happens to be extremely mellow.

This is what I want to do, but don't know anyone to model yet.

Hey Alex, I see you're in SF, I used to live in Mission and now live in San Jose. thats the best place for photography, hopefully I'll find my way back some day :)

Oh yeah? Which spots in the Mission were your favorites? I don't really know the city that well yet. I generally have to stay either indoors or outside the city for some of the more risque work - which is most of it.

I really liked Dolores Park and Castro for shots I did with models in the outdoors. For busy city streets, I really love China Town in sunset / blue hour. For early morning fog through woods, loved presidio and sutro baths area. I really like using some of the store fronts around Japan town at night for night portraits.

Twin Peaks is cool but its too crowded. I often go back to the industrial and park areas of Bayview. I like the street portraiture type of setup and this area gives me an industrial / vacant feel.

Mission is absolutely perfect for street photography. I loved how quiet Glen Park was, and loved shooting near Glen Park Station since there was more of a home town feel, plus there's a good book store around the corner.

Great work man, i hope to see more of your work here on Imzy. Have fun in the city!

Whoa, thanks for all the tips, those are great suggestions, guess I have my work cut out for me now. Time to explore.
