Down by the sea...
Headed out to Seahurst today even though it was drizzly and got a few cool shots.
The sky was a groovy mixture of clouds and blue that sprinkled a few times but thankfully didn't commit to a solid rain until we left.

The seals were way too far offshore for me to get with my current lenses (we saw them via binoculars) but the birds were happily hunting clams, picking them up and dropping them onto the rocks below to open their shells. I liked this shot of the gray seagull because of its tail feathers all spread out as it prepared to land.

I got a new ND filter and tested it on a tiny waterfall to see how it helped with cutting the brightness on long-exposure shots.

And of course, Pocket Dr. Strange came out to play in some of the logs along the beach. Being the famous Sorceror Supreme, Pocket Dr. Strange accompanies me everywhere and battles evil wherever it may be found!

You had a very textural day!
I like how the hole in the last image looks like an eye, but it could benefit from some processing in Lightroom to brighten the shadows and highlight the figure. :-P
Yeah, with the overcast skies, Pocket Dr. Strange was in a gloomy place. I'll fiddle with it and see if I can brighten him up a bit. For once, I tried not to do too much post processing beyond cropping/resizing.
These are great. The bird landing one is nice and clear.
I have a Lego Legolas and Gimli that I like to shoot in interesting places.
He's a fairly recent edition to my camera bag but I like taking him on adventures.
People do some really amazing photoshoots with Legos. I'd like to see yours!
