Fisherman, Dubrovnik, October 2016

I took this shot few weeks ago in Dubrovnik. All around this location there are buildings, hotels. This part of the Croatia coast strugle between stay natural and have a huge tourism economy.
This man was fishing, like he could do in a totally natural place, alone.

Nice shot! Thanks for sharing! And welcome to photopigs!! so excited to have so many new people here, and on Imzy!!
I'll admit to not enjoying tourists, because they tend to walk around in their own little world with no respect for their surroundings, but, then, they do add to the economy.
Agreeded. Big Tourism area are really awkward and made for tourists. But in some countries depend a lot on their tourism economy, so they attract as many tourists as possible.
Yeah, the Mall of America is easy for me to avoid, but downtown and the major city parks are not, especially when they think the bike lane is for walking four by four. Grr. lol
This is gorgeous!
Do you live in Croatia, or just visiting? I had the privilege of visiting for an honors program several years ago and absolutely fell in love with the place. It's such a beautiful country (and area)!
I was there for visiting few weeks ago. Yeah it is a wonderful country, national parks are places people have to visit if there flight to Croatia.
Where do you hail from, then?
hail from ? Sorry I don't understang, english isn't my mother language. I from France.
You got it. English is a weird language. I could probably ask "where are you from" a dozen different ways.
Bonjour! This would be where I would highlight that I've forgotten most of the French I learned. I should start using Duolingo again.
Love this shot and the way you've positioned the dock in the frame. Looks like a beautiful part of the world. :-)
Oh thank you Holly ! I like to see space in shots. And yeah Croatia is a really nice place to visit. Beautiful landscapes ...
