    Alaska . . . . at the end of the world :) Mostly, what i know, is from documentaries and, of course, Charlie Chaplin's Gold Rush :)))

      if you look at a global map, alaska is actually the center of the world. anchorage is a major international air freight hub because of that centrality in the northern hemisphere. http://www.akhistorycourse.org/images/geography/large/l1.jpg
