What am I?

It's a game I play quite often. Among the sweeping landscapes and beautiful sunsets you'll find my pseudo-macro abstract close ups of mundane objects that I simply call WTH is that pics. :) it's just what I do.

Looks to me like an old porcelain wire insulator often used on electric fencing.
That is exactly what it is. It was buried on a hillside in a friend's forested acreage.
I grew up in farm country.
Farm country where, if I may know?
Minnesota
Ahhhh. I spent my formative years in Wyoming and Nebraska.
Well, that was fast. I was like, "huh, what is that", let me see what other people have guess so far ...
Minnesota is a great place for photography, i was there a couple weeks ago and I go often
Probably not one used for fencing however. It was over a foot long with about an 8-inch diameter.
I think I've seen large ones on power units.
"What Am I?" is a great feature for macro/abstract shots!
Can we have a tag? I love tags. (Not sure why I didn't tag this.)
Mm, it's doesn't seem to be saving, but will make sure to get it in there.
I had trouble getting tags to save on app and mobile last week.
I had no idea but it is a cool shot!
