Pickling Peppers?
My mom gifted me with more serrano peppers than I will use in a year, and her plant is still producing so I suspect more are in my future. Pickled jalapeños are fairly common, but has anyone pickled serranos?




I haven't done so myself but I have had friends pickle serrano peppers successfully.
I also just saw a serrano pepper strawberry preserve recipe floating around recently that sounded amazing. Just in case you get bored of pickled peppers.
Oooh! Mom and I were talking about making jelly. Pepper jellies over cream cheese for spreading on crackers is a thing with my family.
I've never had a pickled serrano. You should at least try a few and see what happens. Please report back : )
