Smoke loadout viability.
So I've been considering make a "Smoke ninja-y" loadout, apparently this isn't very viable on the PC because of graphical options, but since you can't mess with that stuff on the PS4 d'ya guys and gals think it'd work? I think it might but I haven't seen any smoke ninja loadouts yet in-game. :/

You rang? http://planethead.info/classes/light-assault-guide#smoke_ninja
Even when working perfectly, smoke has limited applications.
You can't hide in it very well:
You can't shoot through it very well:
Basically, smoke is only useful for a short time, and - as cloak - it doesn't make you invisible, merely a bit harder to see.
Hmm, yeah, i think i'll wait until I've certed out all the important stuff first then. :P
I've actually created a loadout like this. The Stealth Assault. Basically, take a light assault with smoke grenades and grenade bandolier using a suppressed weapon with IR/NV scope. Your choice of utility, but I recommend C4 for easy MAX takedowns and a darker camo to avoid sticking out. Your purpose? Breach and clear. When clearing a small room (Like a capture point) you throw the smoke in and then move in immediately after it pops. This will confuse the enemy, even if they can see through it. It works pretty well indoors, and ok outdoors. It's great for C4ing a Sunderer, because you can smoke out the gunners (Who hopefully don't have heat vision scopes) and C4 in complete stealth.
LoneHawk actually tried it after I suggested it, and called me a genius. I guess getting such a comment from a YouTuber is a pretty cool thing, but I wouldn't call myself a GENIUS. 9 times out of 10 I still end up dying due to my own stupidity. Or the fact that I can't aim at all. XD
The one problem with this - need to look through HS/NV scope to clearly see the enemy, and that way we can't take advantage of LA weapon trait - good hip fire accuracy.
This is the reason why I and others are promoting heat vision goggles as LA tool - to see through own smoke, and maybe see through walls at short range so we get a better idea of what we're getting into during breaching scenarios.
I see your point, but you can't deny that ADS is always going to be more accurate than hipfire. The beauty of the Stealth Assault is that you're taking the fight to the enemy. This means that you should already be aiming with the scope when you enter or just after entering the building you smoked off. The smoke not only gives you the advantage of confusing the enemy, it also allows you that extra millisecond to ADS, making you more accurate in the process.
BTW, since I main Light Assault, I would LOVE to see a heat vision utility slot or something like that.
In hectic CQC situations more accuracy isn't necessarily a good thing.
