Turret/Canon reticle movement on PS4
When turning a Phalanx or main canon on a BT, the reticle and whole barrel/canon (how would u say, continues to move then swings back). You know exactly what I mean, you quickly turn to that one enemy off in the distance, but you're reticle and canon keeps moving then jerks back. Insignificant amount of movement, yet it throws me completely off. I've played all kinds of shooters, been in all the vehicles, I've got unbelievable accuracy. The kind that gets me accused of hacking. But my god, I can't aim with these guns, when the target's too far. I cannot hit it (when they frequently adjust). I understand that the BT canon is separate from the body, but it throws so much off. This is the only game that has heavy weaponry poorly attached to their base. Example, the NC vanguard, obviously a US tank. When that tank canon moves it should be smooth and come to a complete stop. ...Not jerk in the direction it was moving then swing back as if the Canon were loose and momentum effected it but it has rubber bands inside that bring it back.
Do you guys know what I'm talking about? Is there a way to fix this? Also, you can tell these phalanx turrets are top heavy because they sway when u move them, aren't they suppose to be attached...?

I know exactly what you mean. This is the reason I barely ever pull an MBT or Lightning. Needs fixing.
I'm not really affected by it, I just stop moving the reticle abit early, it also adds to the turret realisticity (totally don't know how that pronounces)
Military weapons do NOT move like that.
I meant it adds to the realicticity lthat it is actually attached to a huge spring
I can't say I've noticed this in the PC version of the game. But perhaps I'm used to compensating for it, similar to compensating for recoil.
I'll see if I can do some testing next time I play. If it's not in the PC version, it might be a result of how the PS4 version recieves (and compensates for) analogue stick input from the controller.
Btw if you've seen or noticed, the phalanx turrets are attached by a flexible spring type stand for them to be easy to maneuver, which in turn, makes turning abit (rubbery)
It's like having a spring doll, hit it once and see it's side effects!
