Purchased Hindenburg
Welp, I took the plunge. After the 30day trial saved me about $100 in assistance with editing, fading and combining different pieces of the podcast, I paid the $95 dollars for the licensed version.
I'm still editing with Audacity - it's what I'm used to right now, but am hoping to practice on Hindenburg more. But I do love the auto-level that Hindenburg applies once I bring my edited product into it.
Not to mention that during this time, the podcast broke 500 downloads in a month and had its first 100+ download day. So that made my month.

Nice!
I totally get it. The transition will be annoying, but should be short.
🎈🎉 Congratuations! 😀👍
Thanks. Once I get a few ahead of my release schedule, I'm hoping to sit down with Hindenburg and mess around with it. The only thing that's different is that in audacity, I see the two different recordings (my side and their side, since I record each audio input separately), whereas with Hinderburg, it combines it into one.
But it shouldn't be too hard to overcome with some practice.
