Awful. This candidate has brought to light -- and legitimized -- a reprehensible portion of the population.

I hate that the polls have tightened and even 538 doesn't offer enough solace these days. I still have faith she'll win because Trump's team is just wholly incompetent, but it might not be the landslide I've been hoping for.

The name of the chapter covering this election in future history books will be titled "The Rise of the Deplorables".

I like ElectoralVote's interface much better than 538's. It's also more comforting. I really think the biggest problem she has to overcome is apathy. People are tired of this election. The primaries started too early. This whole thing has been too heated. Even people who like politics and political debates are done. Going out to vote seems like a chore.

Ahhh, yes, that's better! I like those numbers!

This election's been exhausting and repulsive.

So true. The fact that a candidate for POTUS is being accused of raping a child, and his numbers are increasing is horrifying to me. While I firmly believe in the notion of being innocent until proven guilty, I don't think anyone would deny that this kind of thing would sink any other candidate's career in a heartbeat. Yet Trump somehow gets a free pass and continues to be supported (in the form of death threats being sent to the purported victim of this crime no less, good god) because he gives a voice to all kinds of intolerance.

Imagine if this kind of story came out about Obama eight years ago! All of the people currently supporting Trump would have lost their minds. This just goes to show the horrendous double standard that comes with legitimizing racism/homophobia/xenophobia.

This election has been a nightmare and sometimes I just wish I could cryogenically freeze myself for the next 4-8 years... Honestly...

It's incredible how he gets a pass with such horrifying things and yet someone says "emails" and suddenly millions are chanting for Hillary's imprisonment. What the hell is wrong with so many people?
