This story is one week old. However I do not want it to be missed torrent of news. My biggest fear is that the Republicans will make more moves to consolidate power while voters are distracted with the misdeeds of the Executive Branch.

Current administration: "Election fraud is a serious problem that we need to crack down on!"
Also current administration: -makes voting machines more vulnerable to hacking-
O.o
Hahaha yeah I was just thinking that same thing...
One part of the article is kind of wrong, HR 133 to kill the presidential election fund. It was already killed in 2013 in HR 2019 with funding instead going to the Gabriella Miller kids first research fund
As for the voting machines rule how can they stay in power if its easy to vote and the machines work well? Republicans always benefit from lower voter turnout so anything to make it harder to vote including non working voting machines benefits them.
Voting these days is a lot less about us voting and about them drawing new districts with software to select us for voting. The fact that there are voting machines, and those machines might be vulnerable to hacking is just the kind of red herring fit for the proles.
"Winston, you think that the Proles will rise up? You know better than that. Proles are little more than animals, they'll do as they are told."
Moo.
