Jill Stein is getting an opportunity to join the debate right now, live on Democracy Now! Are you listening?

I don't care about Jill Stein specifically because she's a 9/11 truther. I don't really want conspiracy theorists in my government.

I, for one, am rather fond of vaccines.

        So is Jill! http://www.jill2016.com/jill_stein_answers_science_questions

None of these have anything to do with 9/11, which is the conspiracy theory in question.

      • AnonStretcherTameraSep 27, 2016 at 5:26 PM

Some conspiracies turned out to be true. That's my point.

      • AnonOrificeCorneliusSep 27, 2016 at 11:07 PM

Well 9/11 being an inside job is entirely false because the main argument for it is that "jet fuel can't melt steel beams" which, while being true, is irrelevant because steel becomes malleable enough to bend at 1200ºC–far below the burning temperature of jet fuel at 1500ºC. Since you don't need to melt steel to bend it, and burning jet fuel is hot enough to bend steel, planes full of jet fuel crashing into the twin towers would cause them to burn hot enough to bend steel, causing the towers to collapse, QED.

Let's say you're right about that... what about all the other inconsistencies, coincidences, and heck, even the explosions seen in the video just prior to the building buckling. Sure looks like demolition to me!

      • AnonOrificeCorneliusSep 27, 2016 at 11:20 PM

I'm not gonna argue with 9/11 truthers. Remember. Fuel EXPLODES when it starts burning. That's a thing that happens.

      • AnonStretcherTameraSep 27, 2016 at 11:21 PM

So you're saying that the fuel wasn't burning until the building started collapsing already? I thought you just said that the fuel was burning and that it caused the collapse?

Other: I don't really know what you're talking about, I assume due to regional differences, but I'm interested to see the results.

The Commission on Presidential Debates is the organization that controls the Presidential Debates. Although it sounds like an official government agency, it is actually made up exclusively of Democrats and Republicans and is completely controlled by the two major parties. They specifically exclude third parties from the debates, unless the third parties reach a specific threshold of popularity according to certain specific corporate-media conducted polls. If the third party does not reach that threshold, it is excluded from the debate stage.

It is unfair and unjust and is a travesty of justice, because the people have a RIGHT to know who they can vote for. Presidential debates should be open to ANY candidate with enough signatures to get on the ballots of enough states that would enable them to technically win the majority of Electoral votes. This would be a fair way to conduct the debates.

Coincidentally, the major Third Parties (Libertarian and Green) DO have the required ballot slots to win the election, but because they aren't polling well in the corporate-sponsored polls, they are excluded from the debate stage.

Sorry, which country is this about?

      • AnonStretcherTameraSep 27, 2016 at 11:03 AM

United States. Did you not read the wikipedia link?

      • AnonCalorieHaydenSep 27, 2016 at 11:11 AM

Oh, no, I'm sorry, I didn't see it! I read your overview though. Thank you. :)
