Architect or Artist?
This is a question for all the storyweavers out there. This question is usually one of being a pantser or a plotter. I tend to think of it more as being an artist (pants) vs an architect (plot).
Architects carefully draw and draft plans. Artists often let things flow more organically, holding only a vague idea of structure.
I'm very much the artist, in all that I do, not just writing. I hate being confined to too much structure. This is my free time, a change from the rigidity that shapes so much else of my life. It is a chance to let Awen, the divine creative spark, flow through me.
What are you- artist or architect?

Artist, definitely. I find all that story board plotting so boring. The story will tell itself if you run with it. Sometimes you have to run very fast to keep up though! Othertimes, if its going slow, you need to get out of the way of the action.
I am also not into creative writing courses. I find them very forced and unnatural. And boring too. But that could be just me!
Thanks for the post. Great question!
Oh, no, I agree, most definitely. I'm not much for feeling forced to write something. I don't care to be told what to write, either.
Let's just say I can't even make a card house...
Haha. Me either.
