The sky's the limit for white actors in Hollywood: They can play anyone, including people of another race. The latest example of onscreen whitewashing comes courtesy of CBS, which just cast two white actors in roles intended for people of color.

What's this show even about?
From older stories, Mission Control is a "NASA-themed drama" created by the author of The Martian, Andy Weir. Looking at The Martian, Weir's no stranger to mixed-race characters but this casting will really through things for a loop. If they've decided to rewrite the Julie Towne character to no longer speak Spanish, chances are they'll be changing the name of Malik Stevenson.
