For me, I think it's about never passing up the opportunity to question a cultural norm. Obviously with respect to gender and sexuality, but I think the mindset goes further than that. It's about being conscious of the choices I make in terms of social interaction and how that can affect society on a greater scale, and intentionally making choices to go against the cultural grain when I feel it's ethical to do so.
