Seeking suggestions re: new book and re-read schedule
Hi, everyone.
When I started this comm, I was blithely sure that The Hanging Tree wouldn't come out till sometime next year. But, lo and behold, it's out! (At least in the UK and Europe.) Question is, what should this comm do about it? We've only re-read the first two books so far. Should we keep going with the rest, or skip to the new book instead? I know that everyone reads at different rates and not everyone can buy the new book at once, so a read-along is probably impractical, but I can put up a post for spoilery discussion, and of course everyone else is welcome to make their own posts as they progress. If we stop the re-read for now, we can take it up again in a couple of months after everyone has finished Hanging Tree, but I'd like to hear what people want to do. Let me know what you think!

It's not yet out in my country. :-( I, for one, would appreciate if the comm waited until it was possible to read it before discussing it.
I don't think there will be much discussion until a critical mass of comm readers has finished the book. Plus, my own copy isn't scheduled to arrive for another week, and then it'll be a few days before I can actually sit down and read it.
I finished reading it on Friday, and I'd love a discussion post in the comm. I considered just making a post, but felt sort of awkward, because I don't have a substantial review written or theories or such.
Well, you're bound to have more to say than me, since my copy of the book won't be arriving until a week from tomorrow. :-)
I will put up a discussion post today, but I don't want anyone to feel awkward about posting here! Whatever you have to say about the book(s), please feel free to say it.
My awkwardness wrt making a post wasn't about anything you or the comm setup caused, but just my brain in general being more obnoxious about making a new post anywhere than about commenting in a post by somebody else.
