RSL Looking at Ryan Babel?
Ryan Babel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Babel began his career at Ajax in 1998, working his way up through the youth team and into the senior squad. He played three seasons for the first team before he was transferred to Liverpool in mid-2007, where under three successive managers he failed to secure a regular first team position.
Last night Ryan published Salt Lake City to his Twitter timeline which brought on a slew of talk that RSL isn't quite done with it's acquisitions for the winter transfer window. No indication that Ryan is here to talk with the club but it seems likely since, well... why else would the ex Ajax and LFC winger be here for. I'm going to doubt that the legend that is the Rocky Mountain Cup isn't enough to bring him to Utah. Just sayin...

Who would he be replacing?
No idea. He's listed as a winger in his Wiki bio so he could play anywhere on a side, depending on how good he is at defense. I would hope we had gotten a CB since we are still thin at the position, I can't help bu think that maybe we bring him in as one? No idea.
