My little personal corner of the web. This one is all about me, and that's OK.
Hello Imzy
How do you like my new hat? I've got about 20 or 30 assorted Hogwarts and Gryffindor beanie hats. I'm a beanie guy. What can I say, they bring me joy.
My very first Imzy post. I do hope this format sticks around for awhile. I already have a spiritual blog, so folks who want to read about those things can go to www.rikpotter.com or at my private training site at www.houseofblackthorn.com. Here at Imzy, I want to write about me and things that make me happy, things that inspire me and whatever else I may want to put here.
Quite honestly, I think I need more "me" time on the net. I've been writing for the benefit of others for a decade now, it's time to write for myself. My blog over at www.rikpotter.com is marked for deletion in September 2017. I will do more actual teaching of magical things and less writing about them (except for a book I'm working on about Druid Witchcraft). I want to share more personal things, even if that's just about how freaking much I love Pumpkin Spice lattes.
Friends and others who wish to follow me here at Imzy are certainly welcome.
That being said...
We just got our first proper snowfall here in Pennsylvania, and that is my cue to close the curtains and go into hibernation. I hate snow. I know some people love it, but for me it means dangerous driving conditions, anxiety and time missed from work. I'm not a Winter person at all. I'm really not even feeling the holiday vibe this year. I would have been okay with not getting a tree this year, but my husband Matthew (I can say that now, we got married two months ago) really wanted one, and he is putting the lights on this very moment.
Meanwhile, I'm watching The Love Boat, which for some reason, I'm quite fascinated with tonight.
