Chronicles of my life
Trumpocolypse day five
More organizing. More little actions. There's a new app out just today called countable for effectively pestering your elected officials. My nonprofit work was especially rewarding today. I think I still have health insurance. I still have a house and housemates with pending disability claim and a job. These things are good. I am reading The Prince, and highlighting a few bits that seem relevant to undermining Trump. He is much like a prince who came to power out of fortune rather than effort: "Neither have they the knowledge requisite for the position; because, unless they are men of great worth and ability, it is not reasonable to expect that they should know how to command, having always lived in a private condition" There are many paths of resistance. I realize it is late now to be only learning them, but better late than never. I will continue to study. Of course, there are also direct action lists, the Indivisible guide, and many more modern resources I have already taken to, but classic political discourse shows us many spoiled and undeserving tyrants.
