The number of Alzheimer’s deaths increased 71% between 2000 and 2013, while deaths from other major diseases decreased. I fervently hope scientists are successful in combatting it -- and, happily, I see plenty of work going into that effort. Here's a few examples of recently-published research to give us all a bit more hope.
