The Couch-to-5k community welcomes anyone who runs, from absolute beginners to seasoned pros, no matter your level of fitness! With daily check-ins for motivation, discussions of gear, techniques, and training plans, and mutual support and encouragement, come run with us!




I'm definitely on the couch end of the spectrum. I'm looking to change that.
I would love to be a part of an even more elementary fitness group. I jokingly refer to it as "bed to around the block"
I started the Couch-to-5k program obese and completely unfit. The app I was using to follow the program had a timeline of 8 weeks. It took me 7 months. 7 months of running a tiny little bit (between walking breaks) three times a week, then a tiny little bit more the next week. I'm still very overweight, but now I can run for 30 minutes! Even if all you can do right now is walk, you are completely welcome in the C25K group!
my goal is coach to 10k but realistically, its couch to couch haha
I have been running for over 50 years. I have been world class and been a pedestrian from injuries. When nothing else works, walking is a great idea. Building week to week, month to month is always the best approach.
