I've been really bad at keeping up with this. :( Work happened, as it does when you have to spend at least some of your day adulting. I've never been particularly good at adulting.
And now we're into silly season. Nano! And, on top of that, this weekend I'm in York with friends (we're going to see Doctor Strange, pray for us), next weekend I'm in Manchester as the Doki Doki festival for another friend's birthday, then the weekend after I'm in Oxford for another friend's wedding.
One of the big problems of having several friendship groups that don't really intersect is you can get booked up really quickly. And I wouldn't give up any of those events but I wish they weren't all right on top of each other.
But not in work until Monday so I have time to bang out some Nano words. I'm working on a New Adult Horror novel which is new for me. I normally write young adult and kids fantasy. It's been fun so far. I've let myself plan again, I just really love planning T_T Such a dork. I can write spontaneously but the stories form better for me and need less large scale editing if I start with the outline so I've at least thought through some of the problems already (not that I won't need to change things - I can already identify some of the ways some of the characters are going to have to change).
So, yeah. Look, procrastination! Going to write now, bye XD
