Guys. Please keep this community open.

Imzy. We are trying hard to get people interested and active toward this social network. Please stop warning me about things. Thank you.

I keep getting these too, it's kind of threatening and weird. But I think the place to complain about it is in the Imzy communities, or Leaders.

There are several threads out there regarding or referencing the concerns. I think we have posted in a couple of areas, if not, we certainly will do. Thanks for the heads up. ~TQC

    Say what now?

    • imzyFoodiesJul 12, 2016 at 1:11 AMΔ

I received a notice in my eMail that this channel would be closed or delisted. I don't want that to happen.

      • CalebJul 12, 2016 at 1:54 AMΔ

Curious indeed. What was the reason given for the notice?

      • imzyFoodiesJul 12, 2016 at 1:57 AMΔ

Slack is about to be delisted! :(

This was in the subject line.

This was the complete text of the eMail.

        Hi imzyFoodies!

Slack is looking pretty lonely without you. :(

No one has posted in a while, and if your community continues to be inactive, we'll have to delist it from Imzy. This means it won't be seen by or recommended to anyone on Imzy unless they are already a member or explicitly search for it. Please don't let this happen! Make a post to your community so it can keep being fun for everyone!

Hey, Imzy administrators, I have some news for you. If you want more traffic in your various fora, then DON'T make those people who want to join Imzy WAIT WELL OVER A MONTH before letting them join. Let such people join right away!

I applied to join Imzy months ago, and the administrators made me wait well over A MONTH before letting me join. WtF!?! What is up with that?? I don't get it.

There may very well be a "cultural mis-fitting," as to the authorship of the eMails. We have seen this once before with catastrophic results, yet, it was defended as being an auto-response that could not be personalized due to mass. We refute all manner of negativity in the writings to users. Hard to do, but sets a standard that is all IMZY stands strong for. ~The Quiet Chef

        Hi there,

To be clear, the community will not be closed. "Delisted" purely means that it will not show up as a recommended community. If there is no activity, it's not a great user experience to see a bunch of inactive communities. You will be re-listed (or not be delisted at all) as soon as there is activity. Even this post counts as that.

I hope that clears it up a bit.

Which email caused catastrophic results? I'm sorry but this is something I'm not aware of. It's hard to write something that works for everyone but we do want to try.
