Fic Writing Goals for 2017
What are your fic writing goals for 2017? Is there a trope you want to explore? A wordcount you'd like to hit? A list of projects to get to? Talk to us about how you want your writing year to look for 2017.

My specific fic plans are to finish and post my pinefest fic in February, finish and post the rest of First Comes Love, write the crossover I've been thinking about for months and follow up with sequels for the two short fics that get that request all the time.
General writing goals are to write/revise/whatever needs doing 5 days a week, write my original novel, and learn more about writing in general. I have a booklist I'm slowly working through.
I have a lot of writing goal this year that are mostly focused on my original fiction, but I've blocked out some time in the spring and fall to focus on fanfic. My goals are to post more, write some one shots, and work on a longer fic at some point.
I also want to post enough that people will send me requests when I reblog ask box games.
finish my dang wips.
I have a modest goal (which, nevertheless, had its difficulties): to actually publish (on AO3) an spn ficlet I wrote. I've only ever published two fanfics before, but I've written tons. So my goal is to put myself and my writing out there a little more.
FYI: I just wrote an article about how to set (and keep) fandom goals, if anyone out there has trouble sticking with their goals or resolutions. :)
I have about three or four big story projects in various stages of draft, and this year my goal is to finish one (1) of them.
Unsurprisingly, my goals are just to complete the shit I've started. I want to finally finish the DCBB as an author instead of dropping out before claims a third time in a row.
