How often do you write?
How frequently do you write?
After you answer the poll, I'd also love to know if you're happy with how often you write right now. If you're not, do you have any plans to change your current schedule?

I like my current schedule, though I think if I could change anything it would be my ability to be productive in that writing, and to write things that aren't the thing I most WANT to be writing.
Like, I quit my full-time gig to take a part-time job and start writing professionally, but part of that was also for mental health reasons, and fanfic is the thing I'm most functional doing at the moment.
If I could balance things better with original fic, that would be ideal.
My schedule changes according to phase.
drafting: I write every day, no days off. but after that i'm fried and go on vacation and I don't write at all. for like. a month.
Revising: I revise every day, no days off. Then I take a break, but it's more like two weeks. and I don't write at all.
Revision two: this is where I work with any feedback I have, and again, every day, no days off. after I've gone through feedback I decide what to do next, whether that's a deep edit or leaving it to sit a while longer or to take my mind off it by developing ideas for the next project.
Editing: every day, no days off, but only a few pages at a time so i don't lose focus.
When I was working, I wrote fairly regularly, depending on the time of year (retail is so stressful during the holidays). But I've been unemployed the last couple months and haven't been able to do much writing at all. Whenever I start, I feel guilty, 'cause I should be filling out applications or touching up my resume. I'm usually able to get something done in class, but not much, since notes take priority. I actually think the 1k1h that used to run on tumblr helped me a lot, but when my schedule changed I wasn't able to participate anymore. If there's one that runs regularly or with different hours I'd love to hear about it!
I started running regular 1k sprints just this week on tumblr if you want to join in. Today is an open 1k1h where you pick your own hour (whatever time works for you and then reply with your count to the 1k1h post).
Tomorrow is also an open 1k and then we're doing scheduled 1k1h sprints at 5 am central on Mondays and Wednesdays and at 9 p.m. central on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I'll also start including afternoon 1k1h sprints after my internship hours are over in late October.
I'm captainawesomeellie on tumblr too.
For the last month and a half, I tend to write on Mondays and Thursdays. I'm hoping, with the help of regular 1k1hs on Tumblr, to write Thurs-Sun for at least an hour regularly. We'll see how that goes.
I'm trying to get back to writing everyday, or at least doing some sort of writing-related activity (editing is an acceptable use of my writing time block). Normally, I manage to get 2 good blocks a week, but I'm trying to add a third.
I would love to write more regularly. Every day would be fantastic, but with the way work is sometimes I know that's not something I'll always be able to achieve.
I do a writing thing every day, whether it's new words, revising, editing, or whatever. Right now my goal is to get at least 3k/week in new words because I'm in the middle of a WIP (even though I'm hoping for more like 6k...).
I do take breaks, but the longer I'm away from writing the harder it is to get back in, so I try not to take more than a couple days.
I agree about taking breaks, so much. I used to write most days, and kept a pretty good writing schedule. I took almost two months off last winter and I feel like I still haven't gotten my groove back.
