Pride goeth before it
I fell this evening. Inside, could've been worse, but a few hours later I'm starting to feel really sore all along one side and I suspect this'll be a doozy by morning. The best part was falling in front of my wife and kids, always a pleasure. Now I remember why I'm using my forearm crutches more and looking into buying a more featureful new pair. :-P

Good you didn't break anything. My partner and I have both fallen this month, with no worse injury than being sore, and it's definitely up there on the list of awful things we humans laugh at. Reminds me of a TED Talk I saw that explained a hypothesis on criteria required for something to make us laugh. I'll have to go find it.
Take care

Ugh, sorry. It's absolutely the worst when you feel like you are doing better, start getting more confident (or prideful, haha), and then have a slipup as a result that can send you way back. Hopefully it's more "two steps forward, one step back" than "one step forward, two steps back."
Good luck with the new crutches! Hopefully they work out well. :)
Thanks! Still haven't ordered the new ones yet, I take forever when something costs over $100. Here's what I'm looking at though:
