A place to discuss and post about the original Star Trek series!
Weekly Rewatch
What does everyone think of an organized rewatch of TOS? I'm thinking we start with the series itself, then move on to the cartoon and movies. Friday or Saturday were the suggested days, so once we pick a day, the first discussion post would go up late next week for "The Man Trap".
As far as I know, Netflix has the series in most major regions, Hulu has it for US residents, and if someone doesn't have access to either of those options, I'd be happy to track down a streaming link or two.

With my deepest apologies, I'm going to have to pass on the original live-action series. Last year, I started watching it for the first time (having been introduced to classic Trek as a child and adolescent by the TOS movies and comic books, my favorites of the movies being the two that Nicholas Meyer directed), and I loved the episodes that I managed to see, but, unfortunately, a very dear friend of mine, a passionate Trek fan who was one of the reasons I started watching the TOS series in the first place, passed away a few months ago, and at this time I still can't watch the TOS series without thinking of him and tearing up.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. The rewatch will be going on for a while, so you're welcome to join us whenever you feel ready to.
Thank you kindly.
Oh, just saw this! I have been hosting Star Trek Viewing Parties at T'Lara's Cinema of Squee (Livestream channel) since 2012. Let me know if you want to cooperate in any way!
I'd probably not make it a lot of weeks, but I'd certainly along with what people said.
I'm up for it! Maybe on Friday, so that we have time to discuss it during the week-end?
I'll watch along, though I'd rather watch the episodes in production order (starting with either "The Cage" or "Where No Man Has Gone Before").
I can include a streaming link to "The Cage" in the first discussion post if you'd like? That way those who want to watch and/or talk about it can, while still starting with the "first" episode of the series with "The Man Trap".
Nah, it was just a suggestion. If broadcast order is the way you want to do it, that's fine.
