Here's my review. It took me 2000 words to wrap my head around it.
What did you think?

I wonder how far they will take Ezra down that path. Could it lead to a Kanan/Ezra dual? I'm really interested to see how Kanans injury will transform him next season.
Overall I thought it was a great episode, I definitely have to rewatch it a few more times.
We definitely saw a glimpse of the "blind swordsman" archetype when he tapped into the Force during his duel with Maul...perhaps he'll develop some Force Sight a la Visas Marr or Toph Beifong. Or perhaps he'll only be able to clearly see Ezra's descent into darkness now that his vision has been taken from him...interested to find out which direction they take Kanan next season!
Wow... I finally got around to finishing the episode, and what a season finale. I love the introduction of Maul into the story, he brings such a different dynamic to the the Star Wars universe. Especially with his simultaneous denial of the Sith and desire to take Ezra on as his apprentice.
Love the back and forth between Ahsoka and Vader, especially when we get a small glimpse of Anakin under the mask. The push and pull between master and apprentice.
I'm sure I missed some tucked away bits in the episode and will definitely have to watch it again.
I've watched it 8 times now and keep finding new things.
Its unreal how good of an episode it was. I often wonder if we're able to get more emotion and story from these animated features than we are the big screen portions of the story like The Force Awakens. I seriously want to find out what happens to Ezra, and does he turn to the Dark Side or not.
What are the implications with Ezra being able to open the Sith holocron?
As Maul said earlier in the episode. "You have to be a Sith or think like a Sith."
Ezra is tapping into a bad place.
That's what I was thinking. That combined with the warning from the temple guard/Grand Inquisitor on Lothal- I can see this going to a very dark place. And Yoda's warning to Ezra on winning. Ezra is striking a lot of the notes Anakin did before he went over.
