Rogue One: A Star Wars Story December 16th, 2016 A Star Wars fan theory has emerged and has ignited debate within the fan community. Supreme Leader Snoke is Mace Windu? At first the prospect of such a claim seems ludicrous, but after watching the video below, the possibility seems more and more likely.

I absolutely love conspiracy theories.
What do you think of this theory? Who do you think Snoke will be??

I kind of lean towards Snoke not being "revealed" as anyone in canon, if only because he was a woman in early drafts. Mace Windu becoming a woman on top of everything else would have been a bit of a reach, so I don't think the character was created with Mace in mind. But it's a cool idea for a fanfic, could make some good Finn angst too to parallel how Luke and Leia were Darth Vader's kids.
Wait whoawhoawhoa! Who was originally written as a woman?? Snoke or Windu?
Snoke was! In like, early concept stuff of TFA. It's possible they later decided to make Snoke a man and also Mace Windu, but the fact that they started with a female villain makes me think Snoke is just an original villain they came up with for TFA.
I thought he was some character from Clone Wars (sorry, forgot name and I haven't gotten past S2 yet and no, not Darth Plagueis) who was gravely injured, has a facial scar. Snoke looks like that character if you dried him out in a microwave.
I'm sure someone knows who I'm talking about.
I'm for the 'Snoke is an ancient dark side entity dug up on Jakku by the Empire' theory
Not going to lie, I also really love the theory that Snoke is JarJar Binks. :x
Jar Jar has too good of a heart to be anyone evil. And it would undercut the themes that led to the victory of the Rebellion and the resurgence of the Jedi.
Snoke will be Snoke.
Mace Windu is dead.
Snoke has two arms.
Mace Windu has one.
Its definitely cannon having your body parts rebuilt.
Snoke is also played by Andy Serkis.
That's not a feint. He's playing the character. They would have brought Sam Jackson back to play him were Mace Snoke, just like Genivieve O'Reilly and Jimmy Smits came back for Rogue One.
Right now Snoke is a projection of some sorts; you could assume some kind of voice distortion and that when we finally meet him in person, it will sound different.
Or due to Snoke's age and obvious battle scars, the person he is now is greatly altered in appearance and sound, hence bringing in Andy Serkis. Plus what fun would that be if they brought in the same person to play Snoke in TFA as whomever they were in the past??
Regardless, I don't think Snoke will be a new character. They're trying too hard to engage older fans as well as tie in 6 previous movies into a consistent storyline centered around the Skywalkers.
