A place where beautiful people gather to talk about how beautiful they are.
Cookies
Okay - before I create the cookie poll I need to know what cookies people want on there - Otherwise I'm just going to put my favorite and ya'll will have to live with the fact that it's the best cookie ever.
Some parameters - these have to be cookies you can make from scratch at home. Which means as much as I adore white chocolate fudge covered Oreos - they're not an option for this poll because we cannot make the Oreos from scratch at home. If you can do this - you must come visit me so I can lock you in my basement and force you to make me homemade Oreos for all eternity . . . . . .
So far I have the following options: Chocolate Chip, White Chocolate Macademia Nut, Snickerdoodle, Oatmeal Raisin, and Peanutbutter.

Soft molasses, Peppermint fudge crackle, and white chocolate pomegranate
I need to have cookies at your house.
This post makes me hungry...
I don't know if I should tell you this but you can make oreos at home. I'm not talking about those chewy whoopie pies everyone calls homemade oreos. I'm talking about TKOs. Thomas Keller is my food god http://www.saveur.com/article/recipes/tkos-chocolate-sandwich-cookies
If you're going to make these use black onyx cocoa powder, it makes them taste just like real oreos.
And if you like those you should try his brownie recipe from his Ad Hoc At Home cookbook.
@TheSuzzzz - your knowledge of all things cookie astounds me
My Prussian grandmother was a professional cook and pastry chef. I grew up in a household that took hand dipped chocolates and Christmas cookies VERY seriously. I think this year I'm going to try a new recipe http://www.thevintagemixer.com/2016/12/halva-cookie-recipe/
What about pumpkin chocolate chip? Gingersnaps? Mexican Wedding Cookies? Pfeffernusse? Thumbprint cookies? Almond cookies with marzipan? Pignolis?
I didn't add pfeffernusse because I didn't think anyone would know what they were... You sure proved me wrong.
I'm 1/4 Prussian and my mom served an lds mission in Germany in the early 60s, we ate a lot of European foods in our house when I was growing up
Chocolate crinkle, chewy lemon, speculoos, french macarons, sugar cookies, biscotti, black and white cookies, butter spritz, florentines, stroopwafels, anything from Ruby Snap cookies in SLC.
I totally dropped the ball on this and never created the poll . . . . .
Coconut macaroons!
Gingersnaps!
