Clark Kent, Kal-El, Man of Steel, Big Blue, Man of Tomorrow- what am I forgetting?- and of course, Superman.

What is your favorite version?

Nice images. Are these representative of your favorite Superman depictions?
I confess to not seeing much of the Dean Cain iteration.
Chris Reeve is really the only version that really gets it.
I think Henry Cavill is entirely capable of being a great Superman -- but he needs material to work with that UNDERSTANDS the character. He doesn't have that.
Even Bryan Singer's Superman Returns -- which basically positioned itself as a direct sequel to "Superman II" -- fails to have a strong grasp on WHO "Superman" is.
It's a shame because he ought to be the most popular superhero character out there today -- but he's not because filmmakers have an easier time understanding who "Batman" is and not "Superman".
No, they were just the best/first examples I could find. Lois and Clark is pretty good if you're a Superman fan. They did a great job with the characters, but if you care about the special effects and such, you'll be disappointed.
Dean Cain is my favorite Clark Kent by far and Teri Hatcher is my favorite Lois Lane. In lots of mediums, Lois is generally portrayed as bitchy, and you always wonder why Clark likes her so much. While she has that same personality in Lois and Clark, there was another side to her that she played so well. Overall, I'd recommend.
I love Lois&Clark. I used to watch eps whenever they were on TV, out of order. I really need to find it streaming somewhere and watch it all the way through. I think Netflix has it.
They did last I checked. I have all the DVDs anyway though. I should rewatch too.
