Supernatural meta analysis and discussion.
Hello Friends
We have a community, even if I haven't exactly figured out how to use/run it. It exists!
I'm confused about how community leaders assign tags that can be used, but there seems to be a 50 tag limit (at least for now) in a community. If anyone has suggestions on how we should handle the strange tagging system, I'm all ears.
Otherwise, I guess feel free to either crosspost meta discussions from tumblr or start new ones here! Yay!

Maybe there should be a tag for each ~genre of meta? like lit theory based vs film based vs science based etc. Obviously there are a lot of categories meta can fall under, but we can hash out some broad tags, that might be helpful.
Here's the list of tag ideas I came up with when we discussed this on Tumblr, which comes to ~half the allowance and of course are totally debatable but I hope cover the broad categories. Also on one of my posts trying to figure this site out I think it was Consultingcas suggested we could use the spoiler function to conceal sensitive posts, e.g. anything on Tumblr we'd consider adding a "for ts" to the tags especially since there's no blacklist (although the preview on every post means people will have a good chance to never see anything they don't want to just from titles and preview text). I haven't made a test spoiler post to see how it works yet, but that's an idea we have so far while working this place out!
Anyway
Only suggested addition I've got: Film/direction and set analysis, maybe? Those often overlap with one if the above categories, but not all the time. I'm not sure what they could or should be called (not my area of expertise; I usually just consume other people's stuff on that), but I can definitely envision people maybe wanting to sort by that category.
Also, hi.
You can also have another 50 tags that are only usable by leaders, maybe those would be useful too?
& let people suggest more tags when they post their meta to the comm?
I would appreciate having at least "Season X" available as a tag with or without analysis.
Something else you might want to consider is what tags mods get dominance over. I'd definitely set aside one as "admin" or something, just in case you have any mod announcements you want to make. You can make it so some tags can only be used by the mods, which is pretty useful for stuff like that.
