[STUDY Participation] Emotional Labor in Twitch Streaming
Dear Support Smaller Streams Imzy Community,
My name is Katharine Hodgdon and I am a graduate student in the Department of Communication, at Texas A&M University. I am currently conducting a study about managing emotional labor for new media technology workers. Because many of you broadcast media on a public Twitch channel, I am hoping you will consider participating in this study. The project has been approved by my faculty advisor, as well as Texas A&M's internal research review board (IRB). Your participation will consist of an interview lasting about 60 to 90 minutes conducted over Skype.
Your participation would be very valuable and greatly appreciated. If you are interested in participating in this study, please email me at hodgd1kc@tamu.edu to receive a consent form for you to sign. If you have any questions or wish to address some concerns before consenting, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Katharine Hodgdon, M.A.

I have two questions:
Is there a minimum usual audience you're looking at? My stream usually never has more than five viewers or so, would that be appropriate?
Could I stream the interview?
Hi! There is no minimum and yes you are more than welcome to stream the interview!
Cool! I'll be in touch.
