In this I want to talk about armor. In an RPG the concept of armor is simple: wear a piece of equipment or have an ability, and make getting damaged more difficult. There are three major ways that RPGs often handle this: Armor as Damage Reduction (DR) Armor as Defense Armor as ablative Hit Points (HP) Most RPGs, of which Saga Machine is one, take the first approach.
