    Unfortunately, my first instinctual response to this post was a cynical one. That yes, you can have gigabit LTE, but the data cap will be hilariously small, or it'll be priced in the kilobits and the bill will be utterly breathtaking.

    It's all nice that this sort of speed is opened up for mobile use, but at some point all this innovation is going to start to put pressure on copper and maybe even fiber connections that run on top or inside the ground.

    What a world it would be, when you don't have to wait for a construction permit, frozen earth being a subterranean dig problem, or strongarming from carriers to enrich the pot before they'll bring primary drops to your business buildings.

      Yes we really need someone to do what Fiber did for Home and Business internet for the mobile market, but in a much wider market.
