IoT makes me nervous. I feel like they're fundamentally less secure in general, and on top of that it would be easier to infect your own stuff out of sheer ignorance. Most people have some level of computer-savviness and know not to click shady pop-ups or download files from obscure websites, but with tech that's less prevalent it would be a lot easier to feign the validity of a download.
