Viceland - Cyberwar & Black Market

Howdy!

Have any of you been watching these two amazing new shows from Vice? Cyberwar, as you may have guessed is a program about hacking, cyberweapons used throughout the world and computer security in general. It covers some great topics, this week they did a whole episode on Stuxnet, they interviewed the researcher from Symantec who dismantled the code and explored the world's reaction to the world's first cyberweapon.

Black Market With Michael K. Williams is a show a tiny bit like Drugs Inc, but with a much less fake feeling to it. Michael K. Williams was Omar in The Wire and a character in Dan Harmon's Community, he's seen some shit and does an excellent job of exploring various black markets around the world.

As an IT guy and netsec hobbyist, I thoroughly enjoy Cyberwar. Unfortunately, the host either acts clueless to appeal to a broader audience who aren't familiar with the world of exploits and computer security in general, or he is indeed clueless and I wish they had used someone a bit more savvy to do the show. Anyway, Viceland is killing it right now with these extremely relevent programs and I hope everyone is enjoying them as much as I.
