DC Universe Online is confusing me!
There are so many systems in play that I don't understand... and I don't have anyone to talk to in-game, as my multi-gaming guild doesn't play DCUO.
Revisited my old level 10 Ice character. Happy he's still there, though I wish I could change his costume color.
Anyway... Trying to figure out how crafting works, and what I need. Also, I have a lair now LOL.
I wonder what I should do on my way to leveling up.
Also made a free boosted CR100, even though I'm not really sure I want to play Atomic... just because I could and I purchased the power with my (now) daybreak currency.
Anyone have tips for leveling and what to do?

You can change your costumes color in the Style tab -- it's the one that looks like a mask. You can also select among all the styles you have unlocked.
There's crafting quests that should go over the process and give you some starter materials. Most of the beginning materials can be bought from nearby vendors. Basically, there are crafting stations scattered around the Hall of Doom/Watchtower that you can use; trying to craft something shows what items are necessary. You can also break apart items there to gain crafting materials from them.
Leveling -- go through the quests. They will tell you what instances you need to do. Boosted characters are a little different in that you are way overleveled for a lot of those quests. I would probably suggest stepping back and playing Legends quests. Those will give you legendary heroes (you start off with Robin if you're a hero), and you can unlock better ones. That will eventually give you lots of feat points, Marks of Victory and so on, as well as experience with a wide variety of power sets.
Since you're given a character, you don't have to worry about levels or gear.
