Did The Deed: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Just posting to say that I finally got my pre-order in for H:ZD. I had money in my PS account, so I jumped on the DCE.
That is all.

I wanna get it, but running out of space on my playgamesboxmachinestation. :(
Maybe I should consider chucking out a disc-specific game I don't play, like Bloodborne.
What's in the DCE?
I...really don't know! A wallpaper, digital art book, a lot of stuff that I'm sure will be irrelevant in the game within the first 30 minutes of play?
Horizon Zero Dawn Digital Deluxe includes:

That was a bold move. I still don't know much about the actual gameplay. I love what I've seen of the world and the lore and stuff. I'm hoping the review embargo drops a few days before launch.
Sony published a favorable post (big surprise) of this, but in the comments someone mentioned this piece at Ars Technica, which hopefully is less biased. They seem pretty happy with their 4 hour play session:

I was concerned that I wouldn't hear "open world", but even in the Sony piece they said it, so that's good. I HOPE it's open world in the Far Cry sense, although with all the "we're not using the term X, even though you savvy consumers know X when you see it" kind of dodge we're getting from companies these days, you never really know.
Sounds like the "tallnecks" are the towers in this game (which is fine by me, having that spot that exposes a chunk of map is pretty standard by now, and having it be a giant climbable robot dinosaur just makes it more fun).
This is pretty much the ONLY game I am looking forward to this year, AFAIK, so I figured that I'll probably end up saving money in the long run. Plus, I had $25 in my wallet so the final price was only about $45.
I watched the first 4 minutes of this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLzP-4_Tqlk and was convinced. I can't imagine not loving this game. I stopped watching because I didn't want anything more spoiled.
I've been trying to resist the hype but I'm giving up! I'm in!
I saw somewhere that they had 40 minutes of gameplay and I'm like, nope.
The only thing keeping me away from this one is the fact that I don't have a PS4. If I had one, I'd be in like Flynn (whatever that means).
Well I followed @Scopique into the breach. I bought a couple of $50 PSN cards with my credit card points that I'd saved up, and pre-ordered the DCE of this. Now I have $30 left into my account and if I don't spend it, it'll get used for Playstation Vue. That would be the responsible thing to do but this is funny money. Who wants to be responsible with it! Considering a couple months of ESO+ or maybe Stardew Valley and 1 month of ESO+ or something...
